My Past Teaching (2013 - 2022)

My approach to teaching hinges on the real world application of the materials, projects, and objectives of my courses in in order to prepare students to work with technology, to adapt to new situations, and to collaborate effectively.

Teaching in KSU's Technical Communication & Interactive Design Department brings with it a unique opportunity to focus on deliverables for future technical communicators, UX researchers, and UX designers.

When crafting these courses, I aim for students to gain experience developing documentation such as proposals, presentations, and reports, experience utilizing software/tools in relation to different types of projects, and allow my students the ability to build out portfolio pieces in preparation for the job market.
